Clay Bar Decontamination $50
Clay bar decontamination is a deep-cleaning process that removes bonded contaminants—like overspray, tree sap, industrial fallout, tar, and embedded dirt—that regular washing can’t eliminate. By gliding a lubricated clay bar across the paint, these contaminants are safely lifted out, leaving the surface smooth and ready for polishing, waxing, or ceramic coating. This step helps restore gloss, improves surface clarity, prevents swirl marks during machine polishing, and allows protective products to bond more effectively. After washing the vehicle, plenty of clay lubricant is used while working in small sections, occasionally folding the clay to expose a clean surface. Once finished, the paint should feel glass-smooth and be sealed with wax or coating to protect the freshly decontaminated surface.
